1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Han Byul Yang ("MindfulLock", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the MindfulLock mobile application (the "App"). MindfulLock is a personal wellness app that guides you through a daily ritual (reflecting on emotions, breathing, gratitude, and affirmations) and can help you stay focused by letting you restrict selected apps on your own device until you complete your ritual.

We have designed MindfulLock to be private by default and local-first: the content you create is stored on your own device, and we do not operate our own user accounts or central database. The only situation in which your content leaves your device is when you choose to use the optional AI and voice features, which are described in detail below.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

3. A note on our architecture (why we collect so little)

MindfulLock has no login, no user account, and no MindfulLock -operated server or cloud database. Your ritual history, gratitude and affirmation entries, streaks, emotional check-ins, app-lock selections, and settings are stored only in a local database on your device (using on-device SQLite). We cannot see, access, or recover this data.

Because of this design:

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or account credentials (we have none).
• We do not maintain server-side copies of your reflections.
• We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

The exceptions to "stays on your device" are limited to the third-party processing described in Sections 4 and 6.
